The Brake J Stop is a formed metal product, which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as a termination point for plaster cement and is available with or without 3/16" Weep Holes.

Attach Brake J Stops to the framing members with nails, screws, or other approved fastening methods. Each installation of the Brake J Stop must be examined to determine the best positioning of the weather resistive barrier (Vertical and Horizontal Installations differ in their placement of the building paper). Lath must entirely cover the attachment flange.

This product is also known in the industry as #66 Milcore, J Bead, J Metal, and the SJB.
