E. Stucco Band
MSDS and LEED InformationThe Stucco Banding Bead (SBB) can be used horizontally to protect raised bands on a stucco wall. When placed over foam "pop-outs," it can form a barrier to prevent water from penetrating the raised plaster band. The Stucco Banding Bead is a formed metal product that can be produced from Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel.
Attach the Stucco Banding Bead to the framing with nails, screws, or other approved fastening methods. The weather resistive barrier (two layers of building paper required if plywood sheathing is used) and lath must entirely cover vertical 3 1/2" fastening flange.
The Stucco Banding Bead comes in 10' lengths and can be ordered with a number of different flange sizes. The fastening flange is 3 1/2" standard, whereas the "A" and "B" dimensions can be ordered in multiple sizes and widths. All dimensions provided must be "Overall" or Outside Dimensions.
