The J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Villa in Brentwood houses more than 44,000 works of art. It stands as the principal location for cultural experience and artistic expression in the Western United States. The Museum contains an extensive collection of Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities. It sits along the ridge of the Santa Monica Mountains looking over West Los Angeles.
Flannery provided aluminum trims that served as temperature control registers inside the main museum rooms. Priceless works of art require a sophisticated temperature control system. Flannery's trims encircled the openings of the special air vents built into the museum walls.
In an addition to the air vent trims, Flannery also produced special inside corner trims that led up to the museum’s many skylights. This allowed the architect’s design of a pyramid effect below every skylight to come to life.

This website presents general guidelines and suggestions for the installation of Flannery trims and products. The purpose of these general guidelines and suggestions is to aid in a successful drywall or stucco finish based on the Uniform Building Code and industry standards. No website or catalog can address all of the unique specifics or installation details that occur from one project to another. Flannery recommends that every installer be familiar, or become acquainted with, common drywall and stucco trim installation practices before installing any of Flannery's many trims and products. Flannery also recommends that the specifying architect, engineer, and general contractor be consulted with as well. This website replaces and renders obsolete all previous publications by Flannery; including catalogs, pamphlets, or other forms of literature.
