Bullnose Kerf Trim
Flannery's Bullnose Kerf is an excellent trim for transitioning from drywall to a door or window frame. It allows the installer to maintain the "rounded" look of a bullnose cornerbead around a door or window frame. The Bullnose Kerf trim has a 7/8" fastening flange with a taping bead for easy finishing. The other flange on the Bullnose Kerf is a 3/16" flange which is inserted into a notch that must be cut out of the door or window frame. We offer a variety of lengths for the Bullnose Kerf, including 7', 8', 9', and 10'. If the Bullnose Kerf is not what you are looking for to finish off your doors and windows, then check out Flannery's Bullnose Door & Window Trim.
All of Flannery's Bullnose Trims have fastening holes along the flange to assist in their attachment to the gypsum board. The drywall must be kept back a 1/4" from the corner of the framing to allow for the curve of the Bullnose Kerf corner. Install with nails, screws, construction staples, or adhesive. If Bullnose Kerf is not what you are looking for to finish off your doors and windows, then check out Flannery's Bullnose Door & Window Trim.
All Flannery steel and vinyl trims are manufactured according to standard specifications for accessories of gypsum wallboard and gypsum veneer base. ASTM designation C 1047-85.
