Manufacturer's Specification

Reveals with Built-In Weep (Patent #6,374,559 B1) are standard extruded aluminum alloy 6063 T5 and are .050 thick. Reveals with Built-in Weep shall have a standard Clear Anodized finish. Mill and Alodine finishes as well as other factory finishes and custom paint orders are available. Refer to Finishes for details.

Install all Reveals with Built-in Weep over building paper on vertical surfaces using full ten-foot lengths wherever possible. Attached reveals to the framing with nails, screws, or other approved fastening methods. The next horizontal layer of building paper should overlap the 2" nailing flange.  All reveals must be cust accurately and installed with tight, neat joints. Vinyl Connector Clips are available to ease installation and align one piece of Reveal to another. All nailing flanges must be covered with lath and all butt joints must be sealed. Manufacturer recommends that a carbide tip blade along with lubricant be used when cutting any aluminum trims.

Sealant & Vinyl Connector Clips

1. Sealant is required at all butt joints.

2. Vinyl Connector Clips are required for Flannery's Reveals with Built-in Weep.
