Manufacturer's Specification

Part A and Part B of the Drip Mold are standard extruded aluminum alloy 6063 T5 and are .050 thick. Drip Molds shall have a standard Clear Anodized  finish. Mill and Alodine finishes as well as other factory finishes and custom paint orders are available. Refer to Finishes for details. For venting options, click on the Venting Options link.

To ease installation, the installer should strike a line along the soffit and then attach Part A with its nailing flange along that line. Once the installer has fastened Part A to the soffit then Part B can be inserted around Part A and up against the facia. Attach Part A and Part B of the Drip Mold to the framing with nails, screws, or other approved fastening methods. Manufacturer recommends that all joints be staggered. All Drip Molds must be cut accurately and installed with tight, neat joints. All nailing flanges must be covered with lath and all butt joints must be sealed. Manufacturer recommends that a carbide tip blade along with lubricant be used when cutting any aluminum trims.
