How does Flannery's LED Drywall F-Mold function?

Accepted Answer

Flannery’s LED Drywall F-Mold (LDF) trim creates a linear light reveal between drywall and dissimilar materials, including door and window frames, ceilings, and floors. LED Drywall F-Molds can terminate drywall at the top or bottom of vertical walls.

How is the LED Drywall F-Mold Installed?

Accepted Answer

Attach LED Drywall F-Molds through the taping flange to the drywall and framing with nails, screws or other approved fastening methods. All reveals and diffusers must be cut accurately and installed with tight, neat joints. Manufacturer recommends that a carbide tip blade along with blade lubricant be used when cutting any aluminum trim. The frosted diffuser should be cut with a double-edged blade to reduce cracking. Installer must consult with LED manufacturer for LED light strip installation and wiring procedures and methods.
