Flannery’s 12” Commercial Siding Starter Strip is a siding trim which was designed to enable the installer to hang the first level of TruGrain made with Resysta’s 12” Commercial Siding to the wall. Since Trugrain siding is similar to a “tongue and groove” system, it needs something for the first layer to hook to when being hung. The Starter Strip is installed at the base of the wall where the first piece of siding will go on. The following layers of siding then hook to each other in a typical tongue and groove process. Flannery’s Commercial Siding Starter Strip is an extruded aluminum product so it will maintain a rigid and clean edge for the siding to start from.
Manufacturer's Specifications
Flannery’s Siding Trims are standard extruded aluminum alloy 6063 T5 and have a .050” nominal wall thickness. Aluminum panel trims come in 10′ lengths and shall have a standard Clear Anodized Finish. Mill Finish (for field priming & painting), Chem-film finish or other factory finishes and custom paint orders are available. You can view our factory finishes to see if we have what you are looking for or if you do not see the finish, you are looking for, chances are we can color-match it or we already have it! Flannery Trim wants to always make sure we can get you the right look and feel for your building project.
