CDS Framing Office featuring Strata Ceiling Trims
When you walk into the CDS framing office in Phoenix, AZ; you are greeted by three ceiling clouds fitted with Flannery’s Acoustical Ceiling Cloud Edge trims from our Strata Trims line. Our Strata cloud trims create life and dimension to the space, thus giving a great first impression to anyone who enters! This project was pretty special because CDS has installed our trim for other projects in the past, but now they were able to do it for their own office!

Acoustical Ceiling Knife Edge:
Flannery’s Acoustical Ceiling Knife Edge Trim (ACKE) is an extruded aluminum trim that attaches to suspended ceiling track to create a sharp, sloped edge for an acoustical ceiling. The Knife Edge has a unique design that allows it to terminate a suspended acoustical ceiling without having to use the typical flat or square trim. The Acoustical Ceiling Knife Edge Trim also comes with attachment clips and splices to ease its integration into the suspended ceiling. Like all of our other Strata Ceiling trims, our Knife Edge can be fabricated into corners.
The Drywall equivalent to our ACCE, Flannery’s Drywall Ceiling Cloud Edge (DCCE) trim attaches to the suspended drywall ceiling track to create a solid edge for a suspended drywall ceiling. This Cloud Edge trim reduces material and labor costs by eliminating the need for attaching additional drywall and corner beads to finish the edges of a suspended drywall ceiling. Flannery’s Drywall Cloud Edge comes in a variety of sizes to allow for multiple design effects. Each Acoustical Drywall Ceiling Cloud Edge trim comes with attachment clips and splices to ease its integration into the suspended ceiling system.
Fabricated Corners:
Flannery offers prefabricated Inside and Outside Corners for intricate ceiling designs that utilize our Strata Acoustical Ceiling Cloud Edge trim. Prefabricated corners are factory mitered and then welded together to prevent separation during the edge trim installation. These welded corners also allow the installer to maintain a straight and true layout of any rectangle or square ceiling. Factory welded corners come with 8” legs in each direction, however, custom leg lengths can be ordered. Factory cutting and mitering for custom ceiling projects are also available.
