Flush Edge Wall Cap

Trim Purpose

Flannery’s Flush Edge Wall Cap is utilized to cap off a partition wall where it meets a window mullion or needs to be terminated cleanly. The Flush Edge Wall Cap completely encapsulates a stud and two-layers of gypsum board. It rests directly over finished drywall and requires no additional drywall mud or finishing techniques, making it extremely simple to install.

Manufacturer’s Specification

Flannery’s Aluminum Drywall Trims are standard extruded aluminum alloy 6063 T5 and are .070” thick (typ.). Aluminum trims come in 10′ lengths and shall have a standard Mill Finish for field priming and painting unless specified otherwise. Clear Anodized and Chem-film finishes, as well as other factory finishes, and custom paint orders are available. You can view our factory finishes to see if we have what you are looking for or if you do not see the finish, you are looking for, chances are we can color-match it or we already have it! Attach Flannery’s Flush Edge Wall Cap to the framing using a counter-sunk screw for a flush finish. This part rests directly over finished drywall and does not require additional mudding or finishing techniques.
