Flannery’s Light Cove Ledge (LCL) is used to create a “shelf effect” with any of our Universal Light Cove trims. The LCL can allow for a larger light fixture if needed behind a Light Cove trim and add support to the cove. The Light Cove Ledge can also be attached to an Acoustical Transition (ACCT) trim to create a Light Cove Box between two ceiling heights.
Manufacturer’s Specification
Flannery’s Light Cove Ledge (LCL) is an extruded aluminum product with a 6063 T5 alloy and a minimum .063” wall thickness. The LCL is stocked in a Mill Finish, for field painting or a Clear Anodized finish. The Light Cove Ledge is typically not visible once it is installed so a finish is not typically required.
It can be special ordered in our Cloud White paint finish if required as well as other factory applied finishes. Additional finishes include painting, powder coating, anodizing, polishing, brushing, and “wood-grain” applications.
